Cross Game gets anime adaption this spring

Now that I have had a few hours break I am ready to keep updating you on what’s going on in world of Japanese popular culture (isn’t there a shorter way to say “Japanese popular culture”?).

This spring, Mitsuru Adachi’s baseball manga Cross Game will be adapted into an anime. Big shocker, assuming you have read the title of this post… The manga that is currently on hiatus has been running in Weekly Shonen Sunday since 2005 and will be off it’s break also this spring.
