Kingdom Hearts

21 01 2009

I recently discovered Tradera, an auction site, part of eBay (it says), and now I’m addicted to auctioning! Actually, I didn’t just discover it recently, but I’ve never been a member and done auctions before. Anyway, I made some bids on a few items and now I have won Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II for the PlayStation 2, a new PlayStation 2 (how can I else play? XD), a DVD of Kino’s Journey (キノの旅 -the Beautiful World-; kino no tabi -the beautiful world-) and the complete Tales of Phantasia series (based on the game Tales of Phantasia) on one DVD disc. All for very low prices, of course! Oh yeah, I also got my hands on Final Fantasy VII and I can’t wait to play it! The reason I decided to get the Kingdom Hearts games, really, was because I love Final Fantasy and Square/Square Enix so much – and, of course, ’cause everyone always says how great they are. I just hope I won’t immediately throw it away when Donald Duck or Mickey Mouse shows up… I really hate Disney! (Don’t get mad at that comment, I’m just being honest. If you dislike me disliking Disney, just ignore it or I will simply delete your comments. And who knows, maybe Kingdom Hearts may change my opinion. I don’t really think so, though…)

That means, I just got myself a copy of Fable II.

Today we all went to IKEA and got some stuff. Then we went to Heron City right next to it and, after, having coffee and coke at Coffee by George, looked at Media Markt. I looked at a few DVD boxes and then checked their games out. Both Infinite Undiscovery (which I’m still really interested in even though everybody says it’s not as good as it could be) and Fable II to had already come out, further confirming how I have access to absolutely no news source for anything while I’m living here. Great! I wanted to get them both, but then I would have no money again, and I want to know I can buy manga for all I have when I want to, so I only got one of them – Fable II! Unfortunately, I don’t have my Xbox 360 here with me, so I can’t play it until after next week when I finally come home. Well well, I’ll just have to suck it up and wait … and do my all to forget about it until I can actually play it.

If you don’t want to wait for me writing about the game next week get it yourself, play it and get your own idea about it or read more on Wikipedia or the official web-page (UK version).

EDIT: If you’re interested to find out more about the game and the making of the game, check out the Lionhead Studios Video Diaries. I have only watched the first video so far, but it’s really interesting, so check it out! After watching the second video I can say that it’s interesting and fun to watch as well. Now I won’t edit this post anymore.

Movie night

14 10 2008

Yesh, friendsh. I hash a movie nightsh yeshterdaysh. Yes, friend. I has (had) a movie night yesterday.

“Monday night is movie night. Yesterday it was monday. Yesterday it was movie night. We had been to the Mall for quite some time. We had been shopping food and house supplies. We rented two movies: Breathing Room and Superbad. We bought food at McDonalds. I got talked into getting a Double Cheese Burger on the side of my Big Mac. I should’ve gotten some fruit as well. We got home, our food lying in the back of the car with a lovely, hunger-summoning smell. We got home, and we put Breathing Room in the DVD player and started the TV. We put our food on the living room table. It was dark outside by now, and we made it dark inside as well. Breathing Room never went at the movies. We understand why. It wasn’t more great than to deserve only one or maybe two stars.
We ate our food, we ate it all. After a while, Breathing Room was over. It had a delightful twist … no, wait – a twist. Not delightful. Not anything other than a twist. We opened up a bag of chips each, me and CG. We watched Superbad. It was hilarious. Truly hilarious. I give it a    , it deserves it.”
