Vampire Knight Guilty – Complete

9 01 2009

Wow… I actually watched through half a year of anime in two days. Vampire Knight‘s 13 episodes and Vampire Knight Guilty‘s 13 episodes makes 26 episodes total, or, if you will, 26 weeks – half a year. As I said in my last post, both Vampire Knight and Vampire Knight Guilty are definitely worth watching, female or not. Now, go watch Vampire Knight.

The romance part did not end up as I had hoped it would...

And yes, I promise I will return to actual news tomorrow! Or maybe later tonight, who knows…

Vampire Knight – Complete

8 01 2009

Yes, some news have started showing up again and I promise I will write about them later, but now I’m just here to leave a quick note about the awesomeness that is Vampire Knight. Yesterday I watched episodes 2 through 12 of Vampire Knight, having already seen the first episode earlier, and today I watched the 13th – and final – episode of the first season. Even if you don’t like shoujo anime in general, Vampire Knight (and Full Moon wo Sagashite) is a must for the anime watcher, female or not.

"A sweet dream has not ended yet."

I haven’t got an opinion for the other season (Vampire Knight Guilty) yet, but that is simply because I haven’t seen it yet.

Fall 2008 anime schedule

6 01 2009

This is mostly for my own reference so I know which of the fall 2008 series I am going to watch to the end simultaneously as I watch some of the new winter 2009 season shows, but you are free to view it as well. After deciding to watch all the 40+ shows that started airing during late 2008, I had to go and couldn’t watch anime for several months and, of course, watching all of the shows was no longer an option, but now I hope I have made my final fall 2008 anime schedule. Sorry for bothering you with this, dear readers. ^^;

Casshern Sins
Ongoing

Ga-Rei -Zero-
12 episodes

Hyakko
13 episodes

Kurogane no Linebarrels
Ongoing

Kyou no Go no Ni (2008)
13 episodes

Shikabane Hime: Aka
13 episodes

Shugo Chara!! Doki—
Ongoing

Tales of the Abyss
26 episodes

To Aru Majutsu no Index
24 episodes

Toradora!
25 episodes

Tytania
Ongoing

Vampire Knight Guilty
13 episodes

Yozakura Quartet
12 episodes

OK, that was quite a few still, but I guess it’s a lot easier to keep up with than these and 30 shows more. I did not include Kannagi since I have already finished it and Vampire Knight isn’t a 2008 fall season anime, even though I have to watch it before I can watch Vampire Knight Guilty. Several of the others shows I have watched one or two episodes of before I dropped it, but those aren’t listed here because they aren’t shows I am going to watch. Hope all of these are great!

Two more shows on Crunchyroll

2 01 2009

In just six days the new Anime Membership accounts will activate on Crunchyroll, letting me and everyone else who have paid for their special account upgrade watch lots of anime as soon as it airs in Japan with subtitles in HD quality – online and legal – and now they are adding two more shows to

Neo Angelique Abyss

their bank! Only one short hour after airing in Japan, starting this month, the anime adaption of Yuki Midorikawa’s shoujo manga Natsume Yuujin-Chou ANN and it’s sequel Zoku Natsume Yuujin-Chou will be available for Crunchyroll Anime Membership subscribers as well as the Neo Angelique Abyss ANN anime based on the for-girls romantic adventure game Neo Angelique by KOEI. Even though both these series are originally aimed towards girls and women, I will definitely check them out since I have enjoyed shoujo such as Full Moon wo Sagashite and Vampire Knight before.
